Official and public sports information
Bosh Roid uses publicly available schedules, rosters, box scores, game summaries, player statistics, probable starters, lineups and venue information. Source availability varies by sport, season and page. The platform may combine more than one source when a single provider does not contain every required field.
Roster and position information
NBA team and position records can be synchronized from ESPN rosters and Fantrax player data. Imports compare incoming records with existing player information and update only fields that changed. The administrator receives a list of changed and newly created players so roster changes can be reviewed.
Game context and environment
MLB research may include opposing starters, handedness, lineup status, home or road designation, ballpark, roof type and status, temperature, wind and general weather conditions. Context is included only when the relevant field is available; missing data is labelled as unknown or pending.
Model-generated data
Player projections, confidence values, ranges, forecast snapshots and evaluation statistics are generated by Bosh Roid’s own workflows. Model-generated fields are stored separately from final results so historical evaluation can compare what was forecast with what actually happened.
Corrections and refreshes
Sports data can change after initial publication because of scoring corrections, lineup changes, postponed games, player transactions or source updates. Bosh Roid may refresh source records and regrade affected results when a correction is identified. Material methodology changes are documented in the relevant research pages.
